In the Netherlands, some woman, who describes herself as a ‘ paedophile hunter’ has been given a four-month jail sentence for publishing false allegations about men on a website. The name of the woman is “Yvonne van Hertum,  operating an internet page, under the name: stopkindersex.com

Yvonne van Hertum’s name is linked to the website Dutch Predators Org , which carries a photograph and other details about several men. The site accuses them of having erotic online conversations with under-age girls, or other paedophile behaviour.

The site Dutch Predators Org is prohibited under Dutch laws, in order to protect privacy of any citizen, whether a criminal or not.

Such allegations maybe legal in the USA to be published by a court, under “Megans Law” , but not by private persons like Yvonne van Hertum.

A problem for Dutch courts is to proof, that the offending site Dutch Predators Org is ruled by Yvonne van Hertum, as the sentenced woman claims, that the responsibility for her site , Dutch Predators Org is hold by an American man, named “Mark Hartman”
